1. Start With Biometric Login
The first stage of the WAEC GCE registration is fingerprint enrollment.
- Use the official Biometric Data Capture software.
- If you have a fingerprint scanner, you can download the software directly.
- Otherwise, visit any accredited WAEC registration centre.
- Ensure your surname, first name, and other names are correctly spelt.
You can only proceed after the fingerprint capture.
2. Fill in Your Bio-Data
Next, provide your personal information:
- Gender
- Disability status
- Marital status
- Maiden name (if applicable)
- Date of birth
- Nationality
- State of origin
Important:
Your full name must not exceed 40 characters, including spaces.

6. Select Your Subjects
WAEC automatically adds:
- English Language
- Mathematics
Then select the remaining subjects you wish to sit for.
Rules:
- Minimum: 7 subjects
- Maximum: 9 subjects
- English and Maths count toward the total.
7. Read and Accept the Declaration
You must:
- Read the declaration instructions carefully
- Tick the required checkboxes
You cannot continue without completing this step.
8. Preview and Submit Your Registration
After filling the form:
- Click ACCEPT to preview your details
- Click EDIT to make corrections
- You may modify your form up to 3 times
- Click SAVE if you want to return later
- Click SUBMIT when you are fully satisfied

Once you click SUBMIT, you can no longer make changes.

9. Print Your Admission Notice / Photocard
After submission:
- WAEC assigns your exam centre
- Your examination number is generated
- Print your Admission Notice / Photocard
This document is mandatory as you will not be allowed into the exam hall without it.
