1. Start With Biometric Login

The first stage of the WAEC GCE registration is fingerprint enrollment.

• Use the official Biometric Data Capture software.
• If you have a fingerprint scanner, you can download the software directly.
• Otherwise, visit any accredited WAEC registration centre.
• Ensure your surname, first name, and other names are correctly spelt.

You can only proceed after the fingerprint capture.

2. Fill in Your Bio-Data

Next, provide your personal information:

• Gender
• Disability status
• Marital status
• Maiden name (if applicable)
• Date of birth

WAEC automatically adds:

• Mathematics

Then select the remaining subjects you wish to sit for.

Rules:

• Minimum: 7 subjects
• Maximum: 9 subjects
• English and Maths count toward the total.

7. Read and Accept the Declaration

You must:

• Read the declaration instructions carefully
• Tick the required checkboxes

You cannot continue without completing this step.

8. Preview and Submit Your Registration

After filling the form:

• Click ACCEPT to preview your details
• Click EDIT to make corrections
• You may modify your form up to 3 times
• Click SAVE if you want to return later

9. Print Your Admission Notice / Photocard
