A Training and Induction Programme has been organised by the Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) for newly recruited Secondary school teachers in Oyo State. Details of the event for the Oyo teachers are provided below:

Date: Tuesday, 13 January 2026

Venue: Yejide Girls Grammar School, Ibadan

Time 8:00am prompt

The programme will end by 10:00am, so plan accordingly.

What to Come With

All teachers are expected to:

• Be punctual
• Come along with their letter of appointment, which will serve as a means of identification

How to Get to Yejide Girls Grammar School

From Academy:
Take a Keke Marwa or bike heading towards Idi Arere or Ojaaba.
Alight at Kudeti.
Cross to the other side of the road and take a bike straight to Yejide.

From Soka:
Take a bike going towards Molete.
Alight at Yejide Junction.
Move forward slightly; the school is next to the next junction on your right.

From Challenge:

Take a cab or Marwa to Molete.

From Molete, you can take a bike to Yejide or walk down.

From Iwo Road:

Take a cab going towards Academy.
Take a Keke Marwa or bike heading towards Idi Arere or Ojaaba.
Alight at Kudeti.
Cross to the other side of the road and take a bike straight to Yejide.

Parting Advice

If you are one of the affected Oyo teachers, make sure you get to the venue early as the session would be brief. In addition, don’t forget to go with your letter of appointment.
