Every Useful Thing You Need to Know: University of Ibadan Post UTME / Direct Entry 2024/2025 Admission

Attention, future scholars! The University of Ibadan has announced the opening of its admission portal for the 2024/2025 academic session. Starting from Monday, 29 July 2024, to Saturday, 31 August 2024, prospective candidates can register for the University of Ibadan Post UTME 2024 screening.

Here’s everything you need to know to secure your spot at Nigeria’s premier university.

How to Register for the University of Ibadan Post UTME and DE Screening.

First, head over to the Admission Portal at https://www.admissions.ui.edu.ng. You’ll need your JAMB Registration Number as your username and your surname as your initial password.

Next, pay a portal access fee of N3,000.00 and a screening fee of N2,000.00. Use one of the following methods to make the payments:

  • Credit/Debit Card: Use your ATM card for direct payment.
  • Bank Transfer: Make a direct debit using your internet banking tools.
  • Bank Branch: Print out your payment slip from the portal and pay at any bank branch.

Once your payment is successful, don’t forget to print your receipt to know your details. This also helps for future reference.

Important Dates and Details for University of Ibadan Post UTME 2024

The post-UTME examination will kick off on Monday, 16 September 2024. The exact date and time for each candidate will be communicated via email and phone. So, ensure your contact details are up to date and active. Remember, you will be responsible for missing important information if your email address is invalid or your phone number is non-functional.

Essential Information for Candidates

  • If you’re under sixteen (16) years old by the time you’re picking up your admission, you’ll have to wait until the next session to be cleared for admission.
  • For those aiming for the College of Medicine and Faculty of Pharmacy, make sure you have five (5) credits at one sitting in relevant O/level subjects. Other programmes require at least six (6) credits in relevant subjects if you’re using two O/level results.
  • Note that the University of Ibadan does not accept IJMB and JUPEP. Only WAEC, NECO, Cambridge Advanced Level, NCE, OND, HND, and Degree certificates from recognized institutions are accepted for Direct Entry.
