Parents, students, teachers, and school administrators in Ogun State can now plan ahead with the release of the Ogun State Calendar for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The academic calendar, released by the Ogun State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, outlines the official resumption dates, term schedules, mid-term breaks, examinations, public holidays, and vacation periods for primary, secondary, and technical colleges across the state.

Ogun State School Resumption Date for 2026/2027 Academic Session

The first term of the 2026/2027 academic session begins on Monday, 14th September 2026. Schools are expected to resume on this date as the first half of the first term commences.

The academic session will run for 39 weeks (195 school days) across three terms.

First Term Academic Calendar

Resumption Date: Monday, 14th September 2026
First Term Vacation Begins: Monday, 14th December 2026
Vacation Ends: Friday, 1st January 2027

The first term will last for 13 weeks (65 school days).

• First Term Mid-Term Break: Thursday, 29th October – Friday, 30th October 2026
